Visit of Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, to Bin Qasim Industrial Park – Special Economic Zone (BQIP – SEZ) on 23rd Jan 2025
Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal visited BQIP – SEZ, on Thursday 23rd Jan 2025. BQIP is an operational Special Economic Zone located in Karachi.
During the visit, the Honorable Federal Minister was given a tour of BQIP, and was shown the 132Kv Power Grid being constructed to meet industrial requirement of BQIP. The visit was followed by a briefing by Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Bhatti, CEO PIDC, on BQIP as well as on the upcoming project of Karachi Industrial Park; a 1,500 Acre planned SEZ to be developed adjacent to BQIP – SEZ.
