Visit of SAPM for Industries & Production Division, to KCIP – SEZ and BQIP – SEZ, Karachi on 12th Apr 2025
Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for the Industries & Production Division, along with Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Bhatti, CEO of PIDC, visited Korangi Creek Industrial Park (KCIP) and Bin Qasim Industrial Park (BQIP) on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Both KCIP and BQIP, located in Karachi, are operational Special Economic Zones (SEZs) developed and managed by PIDC.
During the visit, the SAPM met with industrialists at KCIP, who commended PIDC’s efforts in facilitating industrial development at the park. He then proceeded to BQIP, where he toured the site and was briefed on the ongoing construction of a 132kV power grid, designed to meet the energy requirements of the industrial zone.
