Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), National University of Technology (NUTECH), and NED University of Engineering & Technology (NED UET) have signed an MoU to establish Pakistan’s first ever Center for Industrial Innovation & AI (CIINAI) at Korangi Creek Industrial Park (KCIP), Karachi.

The initiative, led by SAPM for Industries & Production Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan, will strengthen industry academia government collaboration to accelerate the adoption of Industrial AI, advanced manufacturing, applied R&D, technical training, and capacity building.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Bhatti, CEO PIDC, Brig. Salman Zafar (Retd.), Registrar NUTECH, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Vice Chancellor NED UET, marking a shared commitment to driving innovation and industrial excellence in Pakistan.

As a Common Facility and Training Centre, CIINAI will enhance industrial productivity, foster innovation, and strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global industrial AI and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
